Психологии чтения рассматривается в контексте своего становления и развития, что позволяет наглядно представить достижения в данной сфере, а также сформулировать перспективы дальнейших исследований. В статье раскрыты предпосылки появления и процесс формирования психологии чтения, а также ее современное состояние. До XIX века психология чтения как самостоятельное направление еще не существовала; чтение, письменность считались привилегированными видами деятельности; книги выступали источником сохранения знаний и развития определенных наук. Формирование психологии чтения как самостоятельного направления в психологии начинает активно развиваться в смежных науках на Западе в конце XIX, а в России – в начале XX века. Возникновение данного направления соотносится с появлением самой психологии как самостоятельной науки. Изначально психология чтения являлась клинической областью знания – библиотерапией. Как самостоятельный термин «психология чтения» начинает использоваться только в 70-х годах XX века. Современные представления о психологии чтения в первую очередь связаны с началом формирования информационного общества, появлением «клипового мышления», падением уровня общей образованности и грамотности, снижением интереса к чтению. В настоящее время психология чтения стала отдельным направлением психологии и продолжает активно развиваться в условиях современного общества, переживая период осмысления своего предмета, методов, целей, тем самым способствуя развитию науки. Существующие на сегодняшний день подходы всё активнее применяются в практике. |

| Received 2024.03.28 | Abstract. This article examines the psychology of reading in historical context of its formation and development. This allows to clearly see the achievements in line with this direction, as well as formulate prospects for further research. The article reveals the prerequisites for emergence and process of the reading psychology formation, as well as its current state. In the periods of Antiquity, the Middle Ages, and Modern Times, the psychology of reading as an independent field did not yet exist; reading and writing exist as privileged activities; books act as sources of knowledge preservation and the development of certain sciences. The reading psychology formation as an independent direction in psychology and related sciences began to develop actively in the West at the end of the XIX century, and in Russia at the beginning of the XX century. The emergence of the reading psychology is connected with the emergence of psychology itself as an independent science. For a long time, the reading psychology has developed as a clinical field of knowledge – bibliotherapy. As an independent term, "psychology of reading" began to be used in the 70s of the XX century. Modern ideas about the psychology of reading are primarily associated with the beginning of the information society formation, the emergence of clip thinking, a decline in general education and literacy, and a decrease in interest in reading. Currently, the psychology of reading has become a separate field of psychology and continues to develop actively in modern society, going through a period of comprehension of its subject, methods, goals in connection with the active development of science. The existing approaches to date are actively beginning to be applied in practice. |
